“Love in Action”: Advancing Human Flourishing as a Cross Cutting Accelerator for the SDGs

Held during UNGA81 High‑Level Week, this high‑level convening explores love as a civic and ethical commitment to dignity, care, belonging, nonviolence, and responsibility — and how these relational values can accelerate progress across the Sustainable Development Goals. Grounded in emerging evidence from Harvard’s Human Flourishing Program, the event highlights how social connection, trust, care systems, inclusion, and ecological responsibility shape development outcomes across sectors.

Bringing together Member States, UN leaders, youth, faith‑based and Indigenous voices, civil society, academia, and the private sector, the session will launch a multistakeholder dialogue on making love visible in policy, measurable in development, and real in people’s lives.
