Global Classroom 2026 — Bringing the World of Sustainability into the Classroom

Global Classroom 2026 is a special two-day, in-person learning experience held alongside the 10th NYC Green School Conference 2026 on September 23–24, 2026, at the SUNY Global Center in New York City, during UNGA 81 and Climate Week NYC.

Designed to place students at the heart of the sustainability conversation, the Global Classroom connects university and college students directly with distinguished speakers, policymakers, educators, researchers, climate innovators, entrepreneurs, and sustainability leaders participating in the conference.

Through interactive mentoring and dialogue, students will explore climate leadership, green jobs and skills, AI and innovation, green entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and the future green economy. Distinguished conference speakers are encouraged to spend dedicated time mentoring students and sharing practical insights from their fields.

Participation in the Global Classroom is free for students, helping make high-level sustainability learning and international dialogue more accessible to the next generation.

Global Classroom 2026 reflects a simple principle: students should not only learn about the future—they should have a voice in shaping it.
