As access to universal education becomes a reality for more children around the world, it might seem that learning follows a straightforward formula: build schools, hire teachers, and children will learn. Yet the fact that nine out of ten children in low-income countries cannot read by age 10 is proof that delivering effective education, especially in low-resourced settings, is far from easy. In the end, great education is never one size fits all, and must be designed and iterated in context.
Our speakers will share their insights and experiences in tackling these challenges and discuss innovative strategies in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors.
