Children, Nutrition, and NCDs: The Science Behind the Unmet Need of Health Services

The International Initiative for Pediatrics and Nutrition at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, the International Agency for Research on Cancer, & World Health Organization are co-hosting a scientific meeting focused on the critical importance of nutrition for the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases in children. The event will consider strategies for the integration of nutrition services into health systems in African healthcare in the post-SDG era. Stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds including Ministries of Health, academia, clinical settings, patient groups, international and non-governmental organizations will participate in presentations and panel discussions.
