Youth for Equality: Connecting SDGs 10 and 17 with Youth Engagement
The global challenges of inequality (SDG 10) and the need for strengthened
partnerships (SDG 17) are increasingly significant in today’s interconnected
world. Young people, as key stakeholders in the future, play a crucial role in
addressing these challenges and fundamental documents as the youth
resolution and the Secretary General’s policy brief are calling for full,
effective and meaningful youth engagement.
The side event aims to delve into the interconnection between SDG 10 and
SDG 17, particularly focusing on how youth can collaborate across global
regions to reduce inequalities and foster inclusive partnerships. It will focus
on three key areas: economic inequalities, gender inequality and education.
