Scaling up Action on NCDs and Mental Health – A South-South Exchange on the Role of Investment Cases

This event will look to promote South–South exchange on how ministries of health, finance, and planning use investment cases to influence financing, governance, and service delivery, encourage greater use of investment cases to set national priorities, mobilize domestic financing, and strengthen public financial management; support peer-to-peer collaboration to address common barriers, such as undue commercial influence, fragmented approaches, limited fiscal space, constrained technical capacity and shifting political cycles; and catalyze stronger, more aligned partnerships to accelerate country-led progress, in line with commitments in the political declaration of the fourth UN high-level meeting on NCDs and mental health.
