Strengthening National ASCVD Policy Frameworks: From Evidence to Implementation

We are pleased to host a roundtable during the United Nations General Assembly that will convene public, private, and multilateral stakeholders to explore how countries can strengthen and implement national ASCVD policy frameworks. Countries are increasingly recognizing prevention, early detection, primary care, and risk factor management as priorities, but there remains a significant opportunity to strengthen national policy frameworks. The discussion will examine how governments are incorporating ASCVD into broader cardiovascular and NCD strategies, will highlight practical approaches to prevention, and identify opportunities for collaboration and peer learning.
