Actualizing a Whole-of-Society Approach in Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness, and Response (PPPR)
As a push to advance the discourse on global health governance and actualizing the whole-of-society approach in the pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response (PPPR), the Center for Indonesia’s Strategic Development Initiatives (CISDI) intends to host a side event “Actualizing Whole-of-Society Approach in PPPR” alongside the UN High-Level Meeting (UN HLM) in New York City, the United States of America (USA), on September 18, 2023.
This significant occasion seeks to engage in discussions and map prospects and challenges concerning a holistic and inclusive global health governance. Additionally, the event aims to underscore the importance of embracing an all-encompassing whole-of-society framework as the fundamental cornerstone of future PPPR policies.
In addition to conveying a strategic message to world leaders, we perceive this event as a vital catalyst for promoting extended deliberation and dialogue among diverse stakeholders, with a specific emphasis on fostering engagement between governments and civil society organizations (CSOs).
