Join Facebook and partners as they share new data tools and resources to help the development community meaningfully advance gender equality. Accurate and timely data about our progress towards the SDGs is critical to achieving the Global Goals, but missing or unavailable data around women’s experiences creates gender data gaps that prevent NGOs, researchers, and social impact groups from designing responsive programs that lift women and men equally. Headlined by the launch of the inaugural Survey on Gender Equality at Home report, a survey about gender roles and household responsibilities that reached over more than 460,000 Facebook users globally, this session will showcase how partnerships with global impact and gender equality experts unlocked three new datasets and resources that are now available for use by NGOs around the world.
