A roundtable discussion for civil society and health system leaders,
focused on strategies to address the global health workforce shortage, hosted by Frontline Health Workers Coalition, Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB), Global Alliance for Surgical, Obstetric, Trauma and Anaesthesia Care (G4 Alliance), Living Goods, Rabin Martin, and Smile Train.

The goal of this dialogue is to envision mechanisms for coordination and collaboration in the global health
and civil society space to solve complex problems, strengthen health systems, and promote health equity.

Objectives

In this session, we will apply a systems-thinking approach to collective advocacy to address the global
health workforce shortage. Through facilitated discussion, the group will:

● Foster a deeper understanding of participants and their work in global health.
● Build alignment of group objectives.
● Prioritize key challenges and opportunities for collective action.
● Secure commitment to a collaboration plan.
