How can carbon disclosure keep up with climate ambition? How can we ensure that corporate reporting is robust, verifiable, and actionable? As ever greater emphasis is placed on ESG measurement and management, the scope of non-financial disclosures is rapidly expanding. For companies and advocates that have been urging for public-private concerted action, the emerging regulatory era ushered in by the likes of the SEC and European Union has been a long time coming. However, for companies only now considering climate, ESG disclosure can be seen as yet another distracting burden. This does not need to be the case.

On September 19th, Green Project and Unqork will help kick off Climate Week with a candid conversation on the ESG opportunities and challenges that business leaders can choose to confront or embrace. Attendees will hear from auditors, entrepreneurs, and finance leaders to gain insight into the ways that corporations and financial institutions can build comprehensive, efficient, and compliant ESG accounting and assurance practices. Following a panel, there will be a happy hour with opportunities for networking and shared strategizing.
