Join us in the afternoon where we will examine Climate and People Implications in our Drive your climate strategy: engaging your people event. Achieving your climate goals requires alignment across your company’s strategy, and making the most of opportunities means equipping your people to respond to climate-related risks. However, facilitating practical engagement with climate needs new tactics. This event comprises three highly engaging sessions based on practical examples for moving your climate strategy forward with your people:

  • Talking climate: Taking your climate engagement  to the next level. This interactive session will explore why climate change needs special consideration when it comes to building knowledge, awareness and understanding. Facilitated by climate learning and engagement specialists, it will show why climate change is particularly tricky to engage with and give useful tips based on psychological and social science research for having more impactful conversations.
  • The power of your people: Driving your climate strategy forward. Your organization’s people are central to realizing your climate-related objectives. This session will explore how to align your people strategy with your climate strategy, unleash the potential of your team and keep them engaged and empowered.
  • Climate in the boardroom: Achieving alignment throughout your organization. Climate change has risen to the top of the boardroom agenda. This session explores why it is so crucial for boards to engage with the issue, how good governance is fundamental to a strategic response and how to take the first steps in engaging your board and senior management with climate-related risk.

The afternoon will be rounded off with an open summary discussion, sharing the learnings from the sessions, before heading to a networking drinks reception where the climate conversations can continue.
