Empowering Small to Medium Businesses to Strengthen Climate Solutions
Earth Day Initiative is bringing together our supporters to discuss how small businesses can join in on climate solutions. Learn what it takes to calculate your businesses emissions and the key terms required to understand carbon offsetting.
We will review some of the past, current, and upcoming projects that our partner Tradewater leads to collect, manage, and destroy ozone depleting substances. Finally, we will take a sneak peek into some of the resources Tradewater shares with their members to reduce their environmental footprint.
About Tradewater:
“Tradewater is an environmental project development company that collects, manages, and destroys these dangerous refrigerant gases. We have destroyed over 5.4 million tons of non-CO2 gases to date. Now, our goal is to destroy over 3 million tons every year. We can only do that with the help of others, otherwise, the work will not be done. Small to medium-sized businesses can play a major role in supporting our global projects.”
This session will be interactive and take the mystery out of climate action. Please ask questions, bring real life examples, and be prepared to apply climate solutions to your business immediately.
