Fermenting the future of technology: Paving the Path from Petroeconomy to Biosolutions
In collaboration with DE Alliance for Bio Solutions
Fermentation technology offers a range of solutions to modern industry, far beyond the more familiar applications in beer and yogurt. This session offers a rare opportunity to learn and explore some of the most innovative organizations, which are working on changing the way we produce materials without most of us even knowing it. Today, oil is the backbone of many materials in textiles, concrete and plastic. Biotechnology offer alternatives and the opportunities are close to unlimited and more future friendly than conventional production.
Political support and prioritization is necessary when designing the future of sustainable materials. Biotechnological solutions applies to multiple sectors and in this session, we argue that there are plenty of reason to prioritize fermentation technology as its own sector.
Join us for an encouraging session as we dive into the transformative potential of biotechnology as a viable alternative to petroleum based resources. Discover how bio-based solutions are revolutionizing industries, from sustainable plastics and foods to innovative materials.
