Futures of urban mobility

Add to Calendar September 22, 2022 12:00 pm September 22, 2022 1:00 pm America/New_York Futures of urban mobility

Although the pandemic has taught that physical commuting from home to work and face-to-face meetings are often avoidable, physically moving from one part of the city to another often remains a necessity. Even when it is a choice linked to free time, freedom of movement must be protected. How to ensure the right to travel and at the same time reduce the environmental impact of all kind of vehicles? Electrification, sharing, micro-mobility are just some of the aspects of the mobility of the future.

But perhaps, first of all, a cultural change is needed, an effort of the imagination to think of cities that are no longer subject to the rules imposed by traditionally intended vehicular traffic.

EuroMilano is at its second participation and wants to contribute to the discussion on the future scenarios of urban mobility, thanks to a panel of speakers who, despite the diversity of approaches and professionalism, will try to imagine an urban mobility with a lower environmental impact and with greater attention to quality of life of citizens.
