Liverpool 2030 – From Sustainable to Regenerative Tourism
Mark your calendars to join us for an exciting event that progresses sustainability in the Liverpool City Region visitor economy.
“Climate change is here. It is terrifying. And it is just the beginning,” UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said recently. “It is still possible to limit global temperature rise to 1.5C [above pre-industrial levels], and avoid the very worst of climate change. But only with dramatic, immediate climate action.”
Taking place on Monday 18th September from 9:00am – 3.00pm, this in-person gathering will be held at RCP Spaces at The Spine.
This is also the kick-off event for Global Goals Week: Liverpool and Liverpool Climate Week events with presentations from local and national experts and stakeholders.
Discover how this region is accelerating its commitments to becoming a globally leading sustainable destination through expert insight and interactive panels on best practice from local, national and international stakeholders.
This event will include an exhibition of local sustainable suppliers relevant to the visitor economy.
