Offshore wind: Developing sustainable supply chains
Offshore wind: Developing sustainable supply chains to accelerate global deployment
In partnership with Rambøll
Wind power is a critical component in the pursuit of net-zero emissions. However, the advancement of offshore wind projects on a global scale has been hindered by mounting costs and constraints within the supply chain. The focal point of an upcoming panel discussion is to delve into the principles underpinning an optimal market design and its capacity to bolster offshore wind supply chains across the globe. This forum will engage stakeholders from both the public and private sectors to address these challenges within both a global and local context. The overarching objective is to chart a course towards achieving a global offshore wind capacity of a minimum of 380GW by the year 2030. This session is co-hosted in collaboration with the founding partners of GOWA.
