Health In Harmony is hosting “Disrupting Climate Finance,” a unique event that brings together key leaders from Indigenous People and Local Communities (IPLCs) around the world to convene with stakeholders from government and corporations for a series of lively discussions about disrupting the traditional approaches to climate finance and exploring ideas for directly financing community solutions while meeting other SDG and ESG requirements.
This event will include a cocktail hour with light refreshment and conversations with youth and Indigenous leaders sharing their expertise in developing climate solutions, moderated by Umair Irfan from Vox. At the conclusion of the event, Ashley Emerson, Chief Programs Officer of Health In Harmony, will present on how listening to rainforest communities and directly investing in their solutions is a cost-effective and sustainable method to address the intersection of the climate, nature, and justice crises.
