After a triumphant second outing in 2021, we are delighted to confirm the return of Guernsey’s annual Sustainable Finance Week in September 2022.
Moving from historic virtual events, we are hosting this year’s event in person on Guernsey. Guernsey is at the forefront of sustainable finance thinking and innovation and therefore delighted to invite you to visit our island to learn about our approach in 2022 to leading global and local sustainable finance themes.
Our three key chosen themes are:
The event will host market leading keynote speakers and informative panel sessions, and an opportunity to network with allocators; managers and providers of capital (both private and institutional); leading international figures in sustainability and private wealth and investment fund owners; and insurance practitioners.
During the week you will also have the opportunity to engage with the local finance industry, professional service providers and practitioners, and Guernsey government personnel.
Guernsey is passionate about community engagement so there will be an opportunity to explore its rich natural environment and engage with the local community. Our event will combine expert insight with the arts, with world class displays of nature based art and photography, viewing the environment through multiple lenses. Our local schools will participate too to engage with our generation of tomorrow and future young environmental leaders in the making.

Guernsey Green Finance, established in 2018, is Guernsey’s sustainable finance initiative. Guernsey Green Finance’s objective is to leverage Guernsey’s expertise to help lead in routing capital to climate finance. Our approach has been to develop knowledge, services, tools and products to connect finance professionals to the climate change agenda.
