Tackling Health Inequalities in the Developing Countries
One of the lessons we learned from COVID-19 is lack of equality in global health is a hindrance to proper management of health issues. Health inequalities do not occur randomly. However, they are socially determined by circumstances that people in the affected areas do not control.
Health inequalities have therefore become an unjust global scenario that needs to be adequately addressed. Some examples of health inequalities include access to care and behaviour risk to health. How can we address health inequalities in developing countries?
This session aims to bring together experts to brainstorm through some current data on health inequalities, their effect on global health, and novel solutions.
