The Kluz Prize for PeaceTech 2023 is an initiative to celebrate, recognize, and propel the groundbreaking use of cutting-edge technologies in fostering peace, reducing conflict, and safeguarding human dignity and universal human rights across the globe. The organization of this initiative is supported by Kluz Ventures and The GovLab at New York University.

This year, the Kluz Prize for PeaceTech is offering grant recipients $20,000 to develop existing projects—or enhance other activities—that contribute to the rapidly emerging field of technologies for peace. The prestigious award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 20th, the eve of the International Day of Peace, during the 78th United Nations General Assembly.

The award ceremony will begin with a keynote address delivered by a member of the jury around the potential of PeaceTech and recent developments in the field. These remarks will be followed by the award presentation by Artur Kluz and acceptance speeches by the winner(s). The ceremony will conclude with a panel discussion titled “The Role of Technology in Peacebuilding.” The event will conclude with a networking reception.
