Vulnerability, Resilience and Climate Change in Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience
Increasing impacts of climate change have compounded levels of risk from disasters, requiring urgent focus on vulnerability to identify and assist the most vulnerable populations. Stakeholder group engagement with Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience research can identify the most vulnerable and prioritize limited finance for the Race to Resilience support. This event will feed into COP27, the midterm review of the Sendai Framework and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
