Health outcomes improve and communities prosper when strong health systems prioritize people and the planet. But what does sustainability in health systems strengthening look like concretely? What role does diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) play in amplifying sustainability? How do (and how should) all these concepts fit together in practice—especially in the context of climate change,COVID-19, and conflict?
This virtual event convened by Takeda’s Global CSR Program will respond by spotlighting the work and insights of its partners, Bridges to Development, Pathfinder International, and Seed Global Health, each of which strengthens health systems and harnesses DE&I to realize sustainability in unique ways and in different settings, as a springboard for discussion. Additionally, Takeda will announce its 2022 Global CSR Program awardees and preview its 2023 request for proposals (RFP).
