Women Leaders in Global Health: Africa
The 4th annual Women Leaders in Global Health Conference will convene virtually from 13-15 October, bringing together advocates, policymakers, researchers, frontline workers and youth leaders calling for urgent action on gender equality in the global health field. The conference will include multiple high-level fireside chats, plenary panels and breakout sessions, along with days that spotlight key issues around women’s leadership in health in South Asia and Africa.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been an acute reminder of what is at stake in global health decision making, and the ways in which disparities in leadership profoundly limit our ability to solve the world’s most complex health challenges. With the world’s eye on global health, this year’s conference is more important than ever.
