79th United Nations General Assembly High-Level Event on Social Business, Youth and Technology

The High-Level Event will bring together Government leaders, Nobel Laureates, UN SDG Advocates, Business Leaders, Innovators, Social Entrepreneurs, young leaders from all over the world to empower community-led actions and innovate together for achieving SDGs: 1) Build a global eco-system to support social business, youth and technology for SDGs 2) Promote cross-sector and generational partnerships for innovation and development 3) Build a global network to support youth on technical innovation and social business.

The High-Level Event will be hosted by The Government of Bangladesh,  Cabo Verde,  Nigeria and the Global Committee on Social Business for Sustainable Development Goals, co-curated by Yunus Centre, The Yunus+You Foundation and Youthink Center.

Our Featured Speakers include:

  • Hon. Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser, The Government of
    The People’s Republic Of Bangladesh, Nobel Peace Laureate, UN SDG Advocate Emeritus, Member of the UN Advisory Board of Eminent Persons on Zero Waste
  • H.E. Pedro Lopes, Secretary of State for Digital Economy, The Government of Cabo Verde
  • H.E. Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, the Federal Republic Nigeria
  • H.E. Ambassador Nosipho Jezile, Chairperson of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) at FAO

We must commit ourselves to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. The most dependable way to do it is to apply the methodology of social business, involve the creativity of youth and the power of fast-changing technology.
