ACTV premiere: Profiles in Resilience
On Tuesday, September 23 at 4:30 p.m. ET, the Scowcroft Center’s Adrienne Arsht National Security Resilience Initiative will host the premiere of its new Atlantic Council TV series, Profiles in Resilience.
The series highlights the stories of individuals who have embodied the spirit of resilience in challenging times, such as living in a warzone, surviving an authoritarian regime, and surpassing social barriers.
The first season of Profiles in Resilience will feature Elliot Ackerman, an author, former marine raider officer, and CIA special activities officer; Masih Alinejad, an Iranian dissident and activist who has survived multiple assassination attempts from the Iranian government; David Wood, a Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist who wrote about the unique form of post-traumatic stress disorder that servicemembers in Iraq and Afghanistan experienced; and Nicole Malachowski, the first female pilot selected to fly as part of the US Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron.
This event is part of our #ACinNY series happening on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. Explore more events here.
In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival. We highly encourage pre-registration by 5:00 p.m. ET on Monday, September 22.
