It is becoming apparent that AI has huge potential to help unlock solutions to help individuals and communities adapt to climate change. Indeed, we are already seeing many of these come to life, through tools such as extreme weather forecasting, urban heat island detection, and wildfire detection and monitoring. The climate crisis, however, demands solutions that can address the individual nuances of vastly different localities. Therefore, in order to deploy AI-powered tools effectively and equitably, leaders in the space must match the potential solutions to the needs of local communities.
Join this roundtable as it convenes leaders from across the public, private, and non-profit sectors to discuss how ensure they keep the needs of communities at the center of their strategy as they deploy AI tools.
