AI for SDGs: From Adoption to Impact

AI for SDGs: From Adoption to Impact is a high-level roundtable exploring how artificial intelligence can contribute to sustainable development across Europe and Central Asia.

Organized by UN Global Compact Network Georgia, with the support of the United Nations Global Compact and in collaboration with UN Global Compact Country Networks across Europe and Central Asia, the event is designed primarily for senior-level executives and decision-makers. It will bring together business leaders, representatives of international organizations, investors, policymakers, and senior sustainability professionals for a practical discussion on the opportunities and risks associated with AI.

The conversation will focus on four interconnected areas: AI and environmental impact; inclusion, skills and the future of work; responsible AI governance; and investment in sustainable digital infrastructure. Participants will discuss how businesses can harness AI to improve efficiency, support climate and circular-economy solutions, expand opportunity, and drive innovation, while addressing challenges related to energy and resource use, workforce transition, algorithmic bias, data privacy, and responsible deployment.

Due to limited venue capacity and anticipated high interest, registration does not automatically guarantee attendance. Registered participants will receive a confirmation email if their participation is confirmed.
Confirmed participants are kindly requested to arrive in good time so that the event can begin promptly at 09:00.
