Art at the Edge – artist talk/climate art panel

As part of Climate Week NYC, Waterfront Alliance’s annual 2024 Climate Art Panel features Art at the Edge artists and Carly Foster, a professional community climate resilience planner, specializing in public communications, and local elected official in Warwick, N.Y. The panel will explore: How does art help translate difficult climate concepts to the general public and spur action? How can artists support the work of climate activism? Which climate issues would be fruitful for creative exploration? How can we better bridge the connection between artists and needs for new major infrastructure in communities?

Art at the Edge is a free, outdoor climate-art installation held annually in the Seaport and Pier 16. This year’s exhibit is on display Sept. 22 – Oct. 5. The program is generously supported by The Seaport and the South Street Seaport Museum.
