Building Africa’s Climate Buffer: Financing Climate-Resilient Primary Health Care

Convened by Amref Health Africa and Seed Global Health, this invitation-only investment roundtable will bring together governments, development finance institutions, climate funds, philanthropic organisations and technical partners.

The discussion will explore practical pathways for translating climate and health risk assessments into costed and financed Health National Adaptation Plans. It will seek partnerships and catalytic financing for climate-resilient primary health care, including investments in extreme-heat preparedness and country-led implementation ahead of COP31 and Africa’s COP32.

Climate plans will protect communities only when they are costed, financed and implemented through resilient primary health-care systems.
