Catalyzing Climate Innovations in the Global South
During New York Climate Week (Sep 22-29), the EarthON Foundation will launch an event aimed at uniting academia, investors, for-profit entrepreneurs, and non-profit leaders to strategize on promoting climate innovation in the Global South. The event will present EarthON’s vision to become a global catalyst for climate action, emphasizing its mission to facilitate last-mile interventions and inform policy to address global challenges.
Key objectives include establishing a network of 1,000 EarthON Climate Fellows across Asia and Africa and infusing $100 million into creating an enabling ecosystem. The agenda features registration and networking, opening remarks, a keynote on empowering grassroots leaders, a panel discussion with eminent speakers across different organizations on building a supportive ecosystem, showcases of innovative climate action approaches, an interactive Q&A session, and networking opportunities.
This launch marks the beginning of a transformative journey to foster innovation and leadership, building a robust ecosystem that supports climate action and empowers leaders to make a lasting impact. The event will refine EarthON Foundation’s theory of change through diverse perspectives, generate innovative solutions for empowering grassroots climate entrepreneurs, build stronger networks and partnerships for a vibrant and inclusive ecosystem, and spark collaborative climate projects among participants.
