Closing the NCD Gap

Despite accounting for 74 percent of deaths worldwide, noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) remain underfunded, underdiagnosed, and missing from national policy agendas. The conversations in this opening session will focus on the economic and policy implications of NCDs, as well as the strategic approaches needed to tackle their rising global burden.
