Exploring the Humanitarian Impacts of Climate Change

International Medical Corps and our partners at the Climate & Health Coalition and ServiceNow will be hosting a panel discussion and hands-on kit packing event in New York on September 23.  We hope you will join us.

In the face of escalating climate challenges, it is critical to build robust, adaptable and strategic partnerships that drive effective climate action as well as positive health outcomes.  We will be joined by Forum for the Future, the convenors of the Climate and Health Coalition, as well as two of the Coalition’s partners, Bayer and Haleon to examine the dynamic intersection of the business and humanitarian sectors, showing how they can provide lifesaving relief, mitigate climate risks, enhance the resilience of frontline communities, and drive sustainable change.

The discussions will be led by renowned journalist Susan Lisovicz and will explore the pressures of a changing climate and the partnerships that promote solutions within the communities that are most affected. We will discuss practical strategies, successful case studies and the transformative impact of aligning global leadership and resources with local knowledge and needs.

The discussion will be followed by a hands-on event where attendees can mingle, network and build kits filled with essential supplies for communities on the front lines of climate change.
