Financing Local Solutions to Address Global Challenges: Strengthening the Role of Civil Society in Achieving the SDGs in the Democratic Republic of Congo

The event, “Financing Local Solutions to Address Global Challenges: Strengthening the Role of Civil Society in Achieving the SDGs in the Democratic Republic of Congo,” aims to highlight the critical role of civil society organizations in advancing sustainable development in the DRC. It will provide a platform for local organizations, youth leaders, government representatives, development partners, donors, and other stakeholders to discuss the challenges they face in accessing funding. The event will explore ways to improve direct, sustainable, and inclusive financing for local organizations and strengthen their capacity to implement innovative solutions for communities. It will also promote stronger collaboration between civil society, government, the private sector, and international partners. In addition, the event seeks to ensure that local actors have the resources, recognition, and opportunities needed to contribute effectively to the achievement of the SDGs in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
