It’s time to amplify their voices and stories as we tackle the intertwined issues of water, renewable energy, and climate change. Join us for a film premiere and panel discussion centering communities on the frontline of climate change who are mobilizing to confront the global water crisis.
The Film: This one-hour documentary film follows two communities – one in Ecuador and one in Uganda – as they embark on the monumental task of constructing their own water systems. Through the eyes of community members and local program staff, we follow a journey of dedication, suspense, and perseverance that asks us to consider what we can achieve collectively that cannot be tackled alone.
The Panel: With experts from across the sector, we will delve into the critical intersection of water, renewable energy, and climate change, with a focus on amplifying the voices and stories of Indigenous and last-mile communities. Together, we’ll explore how we can work collaboratively toward a more sustainable and equitable future.
