As geopolitical fragmentation, fiscal retrenchment, and shifting political priorities reshape the global landscape, the future of international health cooperation stands at an inflection point. Development assistance is under strain, multilateral institutions face renewed scrutiny, and countries are being forced to do more with fewer resources—even as the burdens of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), pandemic threats, and climate-related health shocks continue to rise.

Foreign Policy’s signature Health Forum @ UNGA81 will convene leaders from government, multilateral institutions, industry, finance, and civil society for a series of forward-looking conversations at a pivotal moment for global health. As governments assess progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals and recalibrate their commitments, discussions will explore how to mobilize sustainable financing, strengthen domestic health systems, accelerate innovation, and integrate health more fully into broader economic and security strategies.
