Funding the Frontline: An Education in Emergencies Reception

Street Child and Education Cannot Wait (ECW) are pleased to convene an evening reception on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), co-hosted by ECW Director Maysa Jalbout and CEO and Co-founder of Street Child, Tom Dannatt. Bringing together leaders from philanthropy, family foundations, the private sector, governments and the education in emergencies community, the reception will provide a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, build relationships and explore how catalytic partnerships can expand learning opportunities for children affected by crisis.

​The programme will feature an interactive conversation with leaders from across philanthropy, business, government and international organizations, alongside civil society organisations delivering ECW-funded programming on the frontlines of today’s crises, whose work shows what an investment in education in crisis looks like in practice.
