Get Seen, Get Support

The program officer who could fund your next three years just scrolled past five posts this morning, and none of them were yours.

While you’ve been head-down doing the work, decision-makers at foundations, family offices, and impact investors have been on LinkedIn, staying current on who’s shaping the field.

But building visibility can feel uncomfortable, particularly for people whose instinct is to focus attention on the work rather than themselves. How do you become more visible without turning yourself into a personal brand? How do you talk about your work without constantly promoting it? And how can showing up online become an extension of how you build relationships rather than another performance you have to maintain?

Get Seen, Get Support offers a different way to the practice of posting.

Instead of starting with self-promotion, this hands-on workshop starts with mutual recognition. You’ll pair up with someone in the room, listen closely to their work and ideas, identify something worth amplifying, and write a LinkedIn post that celebrates their insight.

Then you’ll publish it.

The exercise shifts the question from “What should I say about myself?” to “What am I noticing that deserves attention?” In doing so, it offers a practical way to develop your own voice while helping someone else become more visible too.

No self-promotion or performance. Just practice seeing and being seen.

What to expect

A guided, hands-on workshop combining reflection, peer exchange, writing, and real-time creation.

You’ll meet another person in the room, listen deeply to their work, and practice translating what you hear into a clear and engaging LinkedIn post. You’ll have time to write, refine, and share what you create, with guidance along the way.

This is not a session about becoming a LinkedIn influencer. It is about learning how generosity, curiosity, and attention can become a more authentic foundation for building visibility and influence.

You’ll leave having actually DONE THE THING! I know that ‘Post on LinkedIn while I’m at UNGA/Climate Week’ is on your to-do list!

Who this is for

This workshop is for social impact leaders, practitioners, and founders who want their work and ideas to reach more people but feel uncomfortable with conventional approaches to personal branding and self-promotion.

What you will get out of it

  • A simple, repeatable approach to creating meaningful LinkedIn content
  • Practice articulating someone else’s impact and insight clearly
  • Greater confidence in showing up authentically online
  • A LinkedIn post written and published during the session
  • A new connection with someone in the room
