The Global Flagship Initiative for Food Security, launched at UNCCD COP16, brings together governments, finance institutions, research organisations, civil society and the private sector to accelerate action on global food security. The Initiative has entered its operational phase and is delivering against its first-year workplan and KPI framework.

Recognising the links between food systems, land degradation, biodiversity loss and climate change, the meeting will review progress, present the KPI framework and discuss member contributions for the coming year.
