International Forum on African-Caribbean Leadership (IFAL) – New York 2024
Register now to join us at the International Forum on African-Caribbean Leadership (IFAL) from 9 am to 1 pm on September 24th, 2024, at the Harvard Club of New York City.
The International Forum on African-Caribbean Leadership (IFAL) is a prestigious annual event organized by the African Leadership Magazine (ALM), held alongside the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Now in its tenth year, IFAL serves as a vital platform that unites global leaders, policymakers, and influential private sector figures from Africa and the Caribbean. The forum is dedicated to addressing the unique challenges and opportunities within these regions, promoting trans-regional cooperation and strategic partnerships.
The 2024 edition, themed “Multi-stakeholder partnerships to drive transformation towards sustainable and resilient societies,” highlights the importance of collaborative efforts to tackle complex global challenges. The forum will focus on a holistic approach to development, recognizing that issues such as climate change, poverty, and inequality are interconnected and require comprehensive solutions that address their economic, social, and environmental aspects.
By bringing together diverse stakeholders—governments, businesses, civil society, academia, and local communities—IFAL aims to pool resources and expertise to foster bilateral cooperation, share best practices, and develop integrated strategies for innovative and inclusive solutions.
