Local to Global: Accelerating Menopause Research, Policy & Care
A high-level convening to elevate menopause as a global health and economic priority on the sidelines of the 2026 UN General Assembly — hosted by the Ministries of Health of Brazil, Indonesia and Mexico, in partnership with NYU School of Global Public Health, Menoglobal, WomenLift Health, PAI and Power in Menopause.
Menopause is a universal experience for every woman who lives long enough to reach it yet remains one of the most neglected issues on the global health agenda. By invitation only, menopause advocates—health ministers, elected officials, UN and multilateral representatives, philanthropic funders, private sector partners, civil society, and media—will convene to help close the gap between existing evidence and the policy, training and systems needed to put it into practice. Together, we will spotlight the array of policy action happening at local and national levels around the world, and build political momentum to accelerate menopause research, policy and care.
