Mental Health & Climate: Climate for Health Ambassador Training
We know over 72% of people in the U.S. say they’re concerned about climate change, with 42% saying they’re very concerned, but only 14% think others around them are very concerned. Health professionals have a vital role to help others to see they’re not alone in their concern and invite them to take climate action.
Join ecoAmerica, the American Public Health Association, the Society for Behavioral Medicine, the Climate Mental Health Network, and the Climate Psychiatry Alliance for a live, virtual climate and health leadership and communications training!
The training will cover the basics of climate impacts on mental health, big picture solutions, ways to take action on climate & mental health, and best practices for communication. Our panel of national experts will share resources, recommendations, and case studies in this interactive session.
This training is accredited for three units of continuing education at NO COST for doctors, nurses, PAs, pharmacists, social workers, dentists, and dieticians.
