Join us for a virtual workshop boosting your sustainable leadership skills of optimism and courage leveraging behavioural science insights! To accelerate sustainable transitions we need to address root causes of the current status quo and at times lack of progress.

One powerful tool that often is not addressed is changing your own individual behaviour as a leader in sustainability. 23 skills are critical for sustainable impact leaders, of which 2 key action-oriented ones are: to act with more optimism and courage. In this session we start with a deep dive on optimism and courage.

How are those defined, according to Psychologists and Sustainable Development researchers? Secondly, we discuss the 7 drivers of optimism and courage that you can instantly change yourself. Today. These drivers are derived from a research project of our think tank together with the University of Amsterdam. In the project all literature on optimism and courage from a Psychology standpoint were reviewed. Based on that analysis we derived 7 key drivers that you can start to change today.

In the final part of the session we shape a concrete behavioural experiment with all participants. Make sure you leave the Climate Week NYC with lasting behavioural change of yourself. As you have the leadership power to make even more sustainable impact than you could ever imagine if you shift your perspective.
