Partnering for Impact: Leveraging cross-sector partnerships for suicide prevention in the Americas

With opening remarks from Dr. Jarbas Barbosa, PAHO Director, and panelists from Crisis Text Line, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s Global Centre at the Child Mind Institute, and Vita Alere, this closed-door, high-level convening will follow the official launch of PAHO’s Suicide Prevention Initiative.

The panel discussion will underscore the crucial role of partnerships in addressing one of the most pressing mental health challenges in the region, and will be followed by the announcement of the partnership between Boehringer Ingelheim and the WHO Foundation in support of PAHO’s initiative.
