Poetry for Peace

From the International Day of Peace (September 21) to the International Day of Non-Violence (October 2), we invite poets and writers 18+ from around the world to reflect through poetry on peace, humanity, and our shared experience amid conflict, displacement, and uncertainty.

This is an invitation to contribute your voice to a collective reflection on peace, connection, and what it means to remain human in a world in crisis.

Selected poems will be shared at Art4Development.Net’s October 8 Arts, Peace & Community Gathering in Washington, DC, and considered for publication in art’ishake.

Deadline: October 2, 2026
