The 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) will feature a High-Level Meeting on the Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and the Promotion of Mental Health and Well-Being, scheduled for September 25, 2025. In alignment with this occasion, the Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) and NCD Alliance Japan will convene a side event in New York City to spotlight Japan’s leadership in NCD and mental health policy, share its contributions with the global community, and explore future pathways for international collaboration.
