Resilient futures: Transatlantic energy-security cooperation in a new geopolitical era

On September 23 at 11:15 a.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center will host a discussion on advancing transatlantic energy security and economic resilience featuring Ditte Juul Jørgensen, director general for energy of the European Commission, and other government officials and private-sector leaders.

With the EU-US framework agreement on trade in place, the United States and Europe now face an unprecedented opportunity to strengthen supply chains, accelerate investment in infrastructure and interconnections, and reduce both cyber and kinetic vulnerabilities to the energy system. Panelists will explore how these goals can be achieved through expanded trade, scaled innovation, and greater policy alignment to ensure long-term economic prosperity.

This event is part of our #ACinNY series, happening on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. See the rest of the line-up and register for more events here.

In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival. We highly encourage pre-registration by 5:00 p.m. ET on Monday, September 22.
