Scaling What Works: From Local Success to Global Impact

The 80 years of the United Nations have brought progress and prosperity to many. Yet, too often, women and girls remain at the margins of these achievements. The opportunity before us is clear: it is time to scale what works to equalize opportunities for women and girls everywhere.

Since 2021, the Equalizer UNFPA Accelerator Fund has catalyzed innovation with novel solutions for women’s health, gender equality, and youth empowerment for those most left behind. Rooted in equity and designed for scale, the Equalizer has backed women- and youth-led enterprises, forged global partnerships, and accelerated the transformative power of innovation across UNFPA and beyond.
