Skills-to-Jobs: Strengthening Nigeria’s Workforce Systems for Economic Growth

We are excited to invite you to a flagship UNGA 2025 side event that will showcase Nigeria’s leadership in workforce transformation, organized by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment,Tech4Dev, and Semicolon.

The event, titled “Skills-to-Jobs: Strengthening Workforce Systems for Economic Growth,” will take place on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the 21st Floor, Nigeria House, New York, on the sidelines of the 80th UNGA.

This high-level convening will spotlight Nigeria’s efforts to bridge the gap between skills and employment and will feature keynote remarks, panel discussions, and interactive dialogue with the Nigerian Government, the World Bank, Mastercard Foundation, Tech4Dev, Semicolon, and other partners.

The audience will include development partners, diplomats, investors, global tech leaders, civil society, and media.
