As global conflict, climate-related hardship, and emergency proliferates, and local governance systems and public infrastructure continue to fall short, the need for urgent humanitarian relief has never been more in demand, both in terms of frequency and scale. However, amid this increased scope of need, past models of partnership between corporate or philanthropic funders and on-the-ground NGOs are failing to stay apace.
Alongside our friends at APCO and CARE, this VIP Breakfast will welcome a group of CSR and philanthropy executives, as well as leading global humanitarian relief experts, funders, and public officials for a critical dialogue around how to meet the needs of the moment, and innovate the collective approach to humanitarian relief partnerships.
